Broadway Camp

Calling all budding actors and actresses. The curtain goes up this summer at the JCC’s Broadway Camp. Don’t delay in signing up for a great summer of theater.  The session will end with the Broadway Camp performance.  Don’t miss this chance to learn new musical theatre skills and wow your friends and family. Broadway Camp includes camp activities too including swimming in JCC’s water park everyday.

Mon–Fri 9am–4 pm

Open to JCC members and non-members

The bustle of theater life fills the days of our
4-week Broadway Camp. All campers participate in preparing for a full-fledged theatrical production, both on stage and behind the scenes.

Activities include:
• Audition techniques
• Creative movement
• Acting techniques
• Rehearsals for our musical production
• Theater games
• Scene blocking & other theater elements
• Set construction, lighting, sound, makeup & props
• Improvisations
• Creative movement/choreography
• All-camp Shabbat celebrations
(each Friday afternoon)
• Crazy dress days
• Full performance at end of session
